Malta Parties

The place where to find the best parties in Malta

Brand

The Maltaparties website lacked a brand identity. The logo, colour scheme, and imagery needed attention to make the portal more recognizable to users.

Additionally, there was a significant mismatch between the website domain and the brand. The first step was to design a new logo and define a new colour scheme to give the website a sense of youthfulness, smartness, and nightlife.

The original logo featured black and red colours, so I chose to retain them but adjusted the shades. The red now has a hint of magenta, and the black has transitioned from full black to dark grey.

The new MP logo is dynamic, modern, and incorporates a gradient shape.

WEbsite

The website redesign began with the user journey in mind. The goal was to simplify the process and make it more intuitive for users to purchase event tickets.

The above-the-fold section of the page features an evocative image of people enjoying a party at the Maltese sunset. A brief copy explains the purpose of the website and a call to action drives users to the events section.

Events

Previously, purchasing tickets felt like navigating a labyrinth. With the redesign, each event is showcased on a card on the home page with a clear call-to-action to the ticket page, making the process easy and straightforward.

Additionally, each event has a "more info" call-to-action that opens the event page and provides detailed information about the event.
